Our Spanish Desk is one of the unique features of the firm as a criminal law boutique. Its establishment is based on our language skills as well as on our expertise and longstanding connections into Spain and Latin America. Within the area of criminal law, we offer advice in Spanish (and/or English) on cross-border related matters such as extradition requests or multilateral investigations. Moreover, we have a large network of specialised colleagues if there is a need to involve either local lawyers or other areas of law.

Mariana Sacher is a native Spanish speaker. She was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied law. She qualified and practiced as a lawyer in Argentina before moving to Germany to work and earn her Ph.D. at the University of Munich. She habilitated and is as Privatdozentin entitled to give lectures at the University of Munich. While she retained her Argentinian licence as a lawyer, she now works for Beukelmann | Müller | Partner.
Maximilian Müller, one of the partners of the firm, studied Spanish in Mexico, where he also did internships for a law firm in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Throughout his career, he has given advice in Spanish in selected cases.
Unsere Kanzlei hat engen Bezug zu Spanien und Lateinamerika und ist dort bestens vernetzt. Wir sind deshalb in der Lage, auch bei länderübergreifenden Sachverhalten strafrechtliche Beratungsleistungen zu erbringen, etwaige Auslieferungsfragen zu klären und entsprechende Mandate professionell auch in spanischer Sprache zu führen.

Mariana Sacher ist in Buenos Aires geboren und aufgewachsen. Sie hat dort Rechtswissenschaften studiert und zunächst als Anwältin gearbeitet. Sie ist dann nach München gezogen und hat dort am strafrechtlichen Lehrstuhl Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bernd Schünemann gearbeitet und promoviert. Sie ist nun in unserer Kanzlei tätig, hat aber weiterhin ihre argentinische Anwaltszulassung.
Unser Partner RA Maximilian Müller hat die spanische Sprache für einige Zeit an einer Hochschule in Mexiko studiert. Während seiner Studienzeit absolvierte Maximilian Müller dort auch juristische Praktika. Seit seiner Zulassung zur Rechtsanwaltschaft berät er auch auf Spanisch.
Nuestro estudio jurídico tiene estrechos lazos con España y América Latina y posee allí óptimas conexiones. Por consiguiente, estamos en condiciones de prestar asesoramiento en materia de Derecho penal también en casos transfronterizos, de tratar cuestiones de extradición y de prestar los correspondientes servicios profesionales también en español.

Mariana Sacher nació y vivió inicialmente en Buenos Aires. Realizó sus estudios de Derecho en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, donde también trabajó como abogada en sus comienzos. A partir de su traslado a Múnich trabajó en la cátedra de Derecho penal del Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bernd Schünemann y realizó en ese marco su tesis doctoral. En la actualidad trabaja en nuestro estudio jurídico, manteniendo su matriculación de Abogada en Argentina.
Nuestro socio Maximilian Müller estudió el idioma español en una Universidad de México. Allí también realizó prácticas jurídicas durante sus estudios de Derecho. Desde sus comienzos en su carrera jurídica asesora a clientes también en español.
